October statement letter

In the past week, I've received a number of requests for a letter that can be sent to clients in advance of their October statements.

In response, I have adapted last Thursday's post on tackling key client concerns and turned it into a client letter - adding some brief commentary on the sequence of events that led us here and some comments on where we are today. For some clients, you may also want to include the more detailed explanation of how we got to today's situation in "The Subprime Crisis Explained."

Both are posted in the upper right hand column under Client Commentaries. If you decide to use the client letter, please be sure to tailor it to your own situation and incorporate your own views and philosophy.

The October statement letter makes reference to three articles; links to these articles are below.
